Anything goes at Robyns fetish challenge this week

My card for the first challenge this year at Robyns fetish challenge blog is "ANYTHING GOES" and with that in mind I made a stop-sign for my kids... its time for school and homework and not staying up late and shorter time for playing aournd so we have to cut down the time spent in front of a screen...

They do play a lot outside but in the darkest time of winter (the sun is up about an hour  day) so it is easy to start the computer and play for a while but no more :)


So it is a wrapping paper as backround and a cute image from Robyns Fetish shop and it is colored with spectrum noir pens and I have stamped the letters with ordinary black ink on a piese of cardstock. Brads and some string to hang the sign with.

Off to cross country skiing!

So now I am off to a cross country ski race with my kids, they will compete and I will cheer... and on TV we all can enjoy the dramatic end of Tour the Ski in Val di Fiemme - I so hope team Sweden do ok and hope thet the Norwegian Northug may win because he really deserves to this year!

Stichy bear have a big variety of digital stuff in their shop and since you can win nice prizes from them this week it is a good idea to join this challenge and visit their shop too and get to know them better, that is what I think anyway so I really hope you join us for this time you can be so creative because you have to:

USE A DOILY ON YOUR PROJECT!

Yes check I have done that ;)

A small doily I got from a friend who wanted to clear out the linen closet of thing never used so it ended up on this card insted of being forgotten and neglected in a dark closet.

I have colored the stamp with distress ink and have blended it with water and painted it on a aqvarell paper.

The card base are a sheet of craft cardstock folded in 15 x 15 inches and a small piece of patterned papper makes the sentiment on the card with a ribbon tied around it. 

The ribbon came on a gift so I do not know the manucatur but it is a silk dotted ribbon easy to find in any sewing shop or scrapbook shop.

The items are stapled to the cardstock to avoid fuss with glue since I have bad experience with glue and doilies before...

A close up, like to add a grey shade to the image to make the girl pop out a little bit.

Here you can se my stapled elements just a very easy way to fastend things to cardstock..

and this is what I made with it:

I colored it with promarkers and used a Nellie snellen die to cut the frame around her. Fiskars edge punch did the edge beautiful and I also inked the edges with a lilac ink pad from Versa craft.

Tic tac toe challenge at Robyns Fetish challenge.

This is a game wich kids play in the US and we are going to do it too this week at Robyns Fetish challenge. Pick a row, down, across or normal and put everything on your project. Do not use anything else than what is in the boxes you choose on your project. So pick three boxex that are connected and create...

Detta är ett spel som barn i USA spelar och det ska vi också göra hos Robyns Fetish challenge denna vecka. Välj en rad vågrätt, lodrätt eller diagonalt och skapa utifrån vad som finns i de tre lådorna du valt.

I chose the first top-down three boxes: red+ green, distressing and buttons and this is what came out of my craft session:

 

It´s a large gift tag for a xmas parcel, merry xmas in Swedish is GOD JUL, and in Norway too actually so now you can write a little bit in Scandinavian languages...

HOW DID I DO IT

It´s just basic cardstock from Die cuts with a view and distress ink from Rangers (ages photo) and distressed with the edge of a scissor, and some buttons from my stash of extras and a string out of  cotton and other natural fibers.

Cut a tag on free hand with my scissors and also cut the hearts on free hand and stamped the words and attached it all with double sided tape, easy very easy and quick.

Challenge #134 Make it vintage / Utmaning 134 - Gör det gammaldags

 

This time at Robyns fetish challege blog there is a challenge named "Make it vintage"

I have had the opportunity to work with a lovely digital image from

 wich are sposoring the challenge this week. This image was the one I chose:

 Vintage School Teacher

Love it so much, can see how it can fit into a lot of projects ahead.

I colored it with distress stamp pads wich I pressed to a plastic lid (from a ice cream box) and added a little water and picked up the color with a tiny brush size 00.

The patterned papers are a bunch of scrap papers I layerd and then added the image on top. With my Big Shot I did a little tag with a Nellie Snellen die wich I distressed with a brown ink pad and stamed the word "Thank´s" in swedish on it.

I think most of the paper are from 7 gypsies from circa 2008 or something...

This is my card / Detta är mitt bidrag denna vecka:

Printed on Manga paper pad from letraset on my ink printer and them embossed the print to be able to color it with my Spectrum noir pens.

I printed the stamp twice and made one a little smaller so they fit together.

Hand cut the shape under the stamps and inked it with a stamp pad in brown.

Cut a small piece of paper and stamed the word "hurra" wich means "Horay" sort of in English. Colored the edges with the same stamp pad in brown.

The pattned paper are from a craft magazine from UK celebrating the british Queens many years at the throne, can´t remember the name of the magazine tough, but a cute paper anyway :)

Stormen & pyssel / Storm in the US

Hej söndag!

idag skulle jag presenterat mitt första alster i utmaningsbloggen som jag har en designteamplats i men tyvärr har minst två personer drabbats av stormen i USA så det blir en liten fördröjning av denna utmaning. Vi får se när väder och alltihopa har stabiliserats och alla fått tillbaka el och hus så kan vi fotsätta med sånt här som pyssel...

Jag hade glädjen att få en hel del varor från Panduros rea så jag har testat några tildastämplar igår med tea och det var jättekul. Ska visa upp sedan.

Idag ska vi hinna gå en promenad i skogen och sedan åka till Klimpfjäll där chrisma design har öppnat butik, jättekul!!!

Örhängen

Ibland kommer det en våg av skapande och igår kom det en sväng av örhängen från pysselrummet. Var förbi hantverksbutiken och hängde upp några men det bidde fler och dem ser ni här...

Först gjorde jag ett par med tre turkosa sötvattenpärlor till mig själv och de blev helt okej så jag gjorde ett par till som nu finns i butiken i saxnäs och http://www.floweret.se/ för jag fick ihop tre stycken i ett naffs - annars brukar det ta evigheters evigheter men det gick bara finfint igår...

Sedan har jag haft ett gäng fina swarovskikristaller liggande i lådan med pärlor ett tag och nu fick jag ihop dem med röd snöbollspärlor av glas, de blev bra om jag får säga det själv. Håller på med ett par i annan stil med swarovskikristaller till mig, det blir fler dinglande hängen på en ring tror jag ifall jag får ihop orken att göra två, ibland blir det bara ett hänge och öron har jag två av så kan bli lite opraktiskt.

Dessa ska hamna i saxnäsbutiken nästa gång jag går dit.

Här har vi mera pärlor. Först vita sötvattenspärlor med örkrok av sterling silver kanske till en vän - kolla på dem här nurå så vet du hur de ser ut - och en trio i olika färger som jag nog ska ta till saxnäsbutiken. Gillade dessa tre nyanser ihop, kanske tar och behåller dem :)  får se...

Nu har jag nästan inga kvar av de här fina blå pärlorna - ett sista par till butik - sedan får jag köpa nya pärlor :)  jippie!
Ja nu har jag börjat lägga in mer saker i min webbutik http://www.floweret.se/ och inte bara på epla.se jag vet inte om epla är så bra på att dra till sig trafik och kunder men jag ger det ett tag till innan jag ger upp. Nu ska jag städa eller bara slappa lite för jag är helt trött i huvudet av pluggande. Har läst om webbdesign hela dagen tills nu när barnen slutade skolan och ögonen är dataskärmfyrkantiga!

Lycka till syrran - idag flyttar hon till Abisko - ska bli coolt att se vad hon hittar på!

Favoriter från 2011

 Storfiskaren med vatten av vellum.

 Pastelliga kort med mina egna digisar.

 Decupageade ägg med mina digisämplar på och två banners jag hämtade från en annans webbsida.

 Mina moln som finns till salu i hantverksbutiken, eller liknande i alla fall.

 Skylt/nyckelringar/flaskkort eller vad du vill ha dem till - av trä & tyg & papper - finns andra nu i hantverksbutiken i Saxnäs. Gjort nya hela året.

 2011 året då jag började göra smycken, av annat än att löda i tenn alltså. Dessa är av trä och stämplade med egna gummistämplar.

 Ett av årets få julkort, drog ner på den produktionen - gjorde fler likadana istället för alla olika.

 Höstruskigt kort, gillar färgerna.

 Julkänsla - dessa fanns också i hantverksbutiken men såldes och satt på någras paket i jul... gillar tagsen jag hittat hos en trevlig freebieblogg - se i blogglistan.

Detta var även året då jag fick en släng av shabby chic fast jag är mer industrirå än gulligt vitt och spets, men fint blev det om jag får säga det själv.
